Wow, can you believe it’s August already?
Hope you’ve had a wonderful summer so far!I wanted to provide a quick update for you on how the real estate market fared this last month. In July, while sales and median prices did slow down a bit, the inventory also remained low making the market hold true for both buyers and sellers. Below are some of the stats you may be interested in by city for July.
  • Manhattan Beach saw a very slight decrease in number of homes sold with July coming in at 47 down from 52 in June. The average home sold price was $2,583,465 with the median home price coming in at $2,240,000 .
  • Hermosa Beach, a smaller market, recorded 21 homes sold which was up from 18 in June. The average sold price for homes in July was $2,009,205. The median home price in June in Hermosa however came in at $1,709,000.
  • North Redondo continues to see lots of interest with buyers with total sales at 40, slightly down from 45 in July, and the average sold price for July was $1,090,767. With the median just below the average at $1,047,500.
  • South Redondo saw 29 total sales, down from 37 last month with a sold average this month of $1,158,862 and a median homes sold price of $1,157,000.
