The Manhattan Beach Real Estate housing market is stable and the inventory remains low. The homes that are priced well and are in good condition sell fast and often have multiple offers. The nice homes that were priced under $1 million were selling well and the luxury Manhattan-Beach Properties that are in good condition and/or great locations are selling too. The key to selling your home fast in Manhattan Beach is creating curb appeal. When a buyer walks up to your home for sale, you want them fell like this a beautiful home and it’s well taken care of. I would put a fresh coat of paint where ever needed inside and/or outside. Last, if you know something in your home needs fixing, you should fix it. Your goal is to wow the buyer.
Manhattan Beach Real Estate has 99 active listings and 41 properties are in Escrow (18 of these properties are under 1 million). There were 25 closed sales last month with 12 of them under a million. The story for November is that 3 homes sold for over $2 million, one home sold on John Street for a little over $5.4 million. The average sold price this past month was $1,454,000. The buyers in November were able to negotiate about 5% discount from the last offered price.
If you have not been to Manhattan Beach during December, you should head down to the beach to see the pier. The pier is lit up like a Christmas tree. It’s very festive and the kids will be reminded that Christmas is near. December is also the time that City of Manhattan Beach puts on a great firework show for all to see. It is a great community event and it gives us another reason to gather with our friends and family. It’s one of my favorite events of the year.
